Being fit doesn’t have to be expensive. With a pair of running shoes and the great outdoors, you can create some amazing workouts while also getting your Vitamin D. If what you lack is motivation, note that fitness buddies will hold you accountable and cause your workouts to be more creative & competitive.

Several weeks ago I did a fantastic workout at Gillette Stadium, home of the Patriots, with two of my longest standing fitness partners, (video of the end of our workout above). We did everything from backwards bear crawls up the stairs, to lunge jump ups, frog jump ups, stair sprints and much more. We added burpees and push-ups between each round-trip on the stairs. The result was a total ass kicking and we all pushed each other hard and cheered each other on.
